Act 25: Finish and Publish a Writing Piece

UPDATE:
I was published!  Check it out!

Submitted for publication... Stay tuned to find out if it succeeds!  Even if it doesn't, it was worth it.

Sisterhood
It is often out of misery
that one finds true beauty.

It is in the depths of despair and the thick of trials
that these true bright spots emerge.

These unmoving moorings hold your vessel steady
and keep you from drifting too far out into the sea of doubt.

These ferocious friends will fight to defend you
from the harshest of critics – yourself.

These unflagging believers whisper the insistent reminder
“You are enough.”

It takes your weakness to
reveal this stalwart strength.

It takes your sadness
to uncover this profound joy.

Only when you’ve come undone
Do they bring you back together.

Unmoving, ferocious, unflagging -
Steady, stalwart, insistent.

This is your tribe; these are your people.
And you belong to them.
